At around 10 p.m. on December 12, 2021, officers responded to Pizza Boli’s in the 5300 block of the Ritchie Freeway for a theft that had just occurred. Officers learned that two suspects entered the business armed with firearms and reported a theft. The employee complied and the suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of US currency. West district
Commercial armed robbery / Hanover

On December 12, 2021, at around 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the Shell gas station located in the 1300 block of Dorsey Road in Hanover for a theft that had just occurred. Two suspects entered the store, implicated a gun and stole property from the facility. Commercial armed robbery / Glen Burnie

On December 12, 2021, at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the Royal Farms located in the 6900 block of the Ritchie Freeway for an armed robbery that had just occurred. A suspect entered the business, brandished a handgun and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of US currency. West district
Grab & Go Theft – Assault Arrests / Gambrills

On December 11, 2021, at approximately 3:00 p.m., officers responded to Rack Room Shoes located in the 2600 block of Chapel Lake Drive in Gambrills for theft and assault. Officers learned that a manager attempted to confront a group of shoplifters, one of the suspects then sprayed pepper on the manager. The five suspects were apprehended by officers a short distance away and over $ 1,000.00 in merchandise was recovered. The manager was not injured as a result of the incident. Citizen flight / Laurel

On December 11, 2021, at around 10:00 a.m., officers responded to Block 3300 from Crumpton South to Laurel for a citizen theft that just happened. The victim said she was outside and accosted by two unknown, masked male subjects. The subjects forcibly stole property from the victim, causing minor injuries. Officers and K9 scoured the area but were unable to locate the suspects or property. On December 10, 2021, at around 11:00 p.m., officers responded to the State Employees Credit Union (SECU) located in the 8000 block of Jumpers Hole Road for a citizen theft that had just occurred. The victim said she was at the ATM and had just withdrawn money when approached by the suspect. The suspect demanded his property, implying he had a gun. After giving the suspect his money and wallet, the suspect left the scene in a vehicle. Officers searched for the vehicle but were unable to locate the suspect. Gunshots / Brooklyn

On December 11, 2021, at around 4:00 a.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Victory Avenue in Brooklyn with gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found evidence of a shooting, but no casualties were located. It appears that there was only material damage as a result of this shooting. West district
Weapons Violation / Glen Burnie

On December 10, 2021, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers responded to the Wawa located in the 7800 block of Parke West Drive in Glen Burnie for an ongoing fight. Officers learned that a mutual assault had taken place at the company and that one party pulled out a handgun threatening the other. The suspect then placed the gun in her vehicle before the police arrived. Officers were able to see the handgun prominently in the suspect’s vehicle. The weapon seized was a loaded 80.9mm polymer phantom pistol. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.

First Degree Assault / Gambrills
21-742061

On December 10, 2021, at approximately 11:15 a.m., officers responded to Village Wine & Spirits located in the 2600 block of Chapel Lake Drive for assault. Officers learned the incident started as shoplifting, but when an employee attempted to confront the suspects, the prime suspect smashed a bottle on the victim’s head, causing serious injury. The suspect then took out a knife and threatened the injured victim. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspects are described as two black men and a black woman driving a silver Chrysler 300 with possibly DC tags. Officers observed the vehicle but then lost it a short distance in Prince George County.
